Telecom Transport
Speed. It’s key when you’re surfing the Internet. And it’s even more important when you’re constructing an interchange on a new fiber optic network designed to add lanes to the information super highway.
To help expand this telecom facility in greater Boston fast, ENA provided full-time construction administration for the facility’s Ohio-based designer and client. Challenges included:
- Coordinating the installation of sensitive electronic equipment and complex utility lines to condition and power the space.
- Protecting “lit” cable in an active construction site.
- Meeting a demanding schedule and budget by providing close coordination between client, contractor, and design teams.
