Resort Homes

Q: How do you make the most of a residential development on a gorgeous 16-acre site that features wetlands, a creek, and a golf course?

A: Create privacy and protect the wetlands by clustering the sixteen houses on a secluded parcel, and position each house to face a view worth bragging about.

Our unusual fan-shaped design allows us to place the living, dining and second-floor master bedroom in the largest spaces facing the best views. Garage and utility rooms tucked into the more intimate zone of the house create a buffer from the street. An additional 600-square-foot space may be used as a ground-floor bedroom suite, office, or family room.

Innovative stone-faced masonry walls and fireplaces anchor the core of the house. Lighter materials, including aluminum/glass curtain walls and wooden trellises, soften the transition from indoor to outdoor space.
