Communities

Developers play an important role in American communities: They create needed housing for people of all economic levels. ENA welcomes the opportunity to team with developers in urban, suburban and resort contexts to create new homes that meet market needs, build stronger communities and create a minimal impact on natural resources.

Thanks to the strength of the local economy and the influence of the “Big Dig” and other public works projects, many neighborhoods in Boston and other towns in New England are being reborn. Because we know that repurposing buildings in urban neighborhoods can be “green,” profitable, and help strengthen urban communities, we actively seek out commissions to convert existing buildings to housing or mixed-use developments.

We also have significant experience working with developers of suburban and resort communities. Our Communities portfolio details some of the hallmarks of our development work, including modular designs that control costs while allowing clients to personalize their homes, village “greens” to encourage interaction between residents, and the use of low-maintenance materials.

Every client is unique. Please contact us to discuss your particular needs.
